Health & Safety
The health and safety of participants is important to us. Our retreats involve outdoor activities such as hiking, movement sessions, and time spent in alpine environments.
While we take reasonable steps to support a safe and enjoyable experience, participation in the retreat and its activities is voluntary and at your own risk.
These guidelines are intended to help participants prepare and take personal responsibility during the retreat.
These guidelines should be read alongside our Retreat Terms & Conditions and Retreat Participation Agreement.
Physical Readiness
Participants should feel comfortable participating in moderate physical activity such as hiking on uneven terrain. If you have any injuries, medical conditions, or limitations that may affect your participation, please notify the organizers in advance. Participants are responsible for monitoring their own physical limits and choosing activities that feel appropriate for them.
Medical Responsibility
Participants are responsible for managing their own health needs during the retreat.
Please bring an adequate supply of any required medications and ensure you understand how to use them. The retreat organizers do not provide medical services onsite. In the event of a medical emergency, we will assist in contacting appropriate local emergency services.
Participants are responsible for any medical costs incurred.
Outdoor Activities
Some retreat activities may take place in alpine environments with uneven terrain, changing weather conditions, and varying levels of physical effort.
Participants should:
Wear appropriate footwear and clothing
Follow guidance provided by retreat hosts
Bring recommended gear for hikes and outdoor activities
Participants should only take part in activities they feel physically comfortable undertaking.
Weather and Environment
Mountain weather can change quickly.
Participants should come prepared with appropriate layers, sun protection, and hydration.
Daily activities may be adjusted due to weather, trail conditions, or safety considerations.
Food and Allergies
Please inform the organizers in advance of any dietary restrictions or allergies. While we do our best to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee that all food will be free from allergens. Participants with severe allergies should carry appropriate medication.
Respect and Group Safety
Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward fellow guests, retreat staff, and venue staff. Unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from activities or from the retreat.
Personal Responsibility
By attending the retreat, participants acknowledge that they are responsible for their own health, safety, and decision-making during retreat activities. Participants agree to follow reasonable safety guidance provided by retreat organizers.
